This article will show you a step-by-step guide on how to withdraw your cryptocurrency from your Huobi account and deposit them safely into your FTX account.
How to withdraw cryptocurrency from Houbi exchange and deposit it into FTX exchange?
Here are the five (5) steps to do so.
1. Get your FTX Deposit Address
Login to your FTX account.
If you do not currently have one, create a free FTX account and receive a flat 5.00% fee discount on all your trades.
Click the <Wallet> menu on the top left of the homepage, select the magnifying glass icon, type the name of the ticker symbol of the cryptocurrency you want, and click <Deposit>. You will see a similar message below, displaying your crypto deposit address.
Make sure it is the correct cryptocurrency you want. Then, copy this deposit address and move to the next step.
2. Go to Huobi Withdrawal Page
Login to your Huobi account.
Go to the <Balances> menu at the top right of the homepage and select <Exchange Account – Deposit and Withdrawal> from the dropdown list.
Search for the cryptocurrency you want and click the <Withdraw> button.
Paste the FTX deposit address and confirm the withdrawal transaction by clicking the <Withdraw> button again. Be sure to check your withdrawal amount to be correct.
3. Confirm the Withdrawal Request
Huobi will ask you to confirm the withdrawal amount and make you read through and agree to their risk warning advisory. Then, check the box at the bottom of the page and click <Confirm> to withdraw.
4. Confirm Security Authentication from Huobi
An email verification code will be sent to your Huobi registered email address. Check the mailbox to retrieve the code, paste it into the security check box and click <Confirm>.
5. Make Sure You Receive Your Deposit
Two (2) ways to ensure that the entire transaction is smooth sailing and the transfer is correct.
a) Make sure Huobi has the Withdrawal History
Go to <Balances>, select <Exchange Account – Deposit and Withdrawal> and click the <History> button, located on the far right side of the page.
Under the <Withdrawal History> tab, you should see your transaction listed here, together with the date timestamp, transaction ID (TxID) and the exact amount transacted.
b) Make sure FTX has the Deposit History
Go to the <Wallet> menu on top of the homepage and select the <Deposits> tab.
You will see your deposit confirmation details, and your cryptocurrency has successfully been transferred into your FTK exchange account.

Are there any withdrawal fees from Huobi?
Yes, there are. It depends on the type of cryptocurrency that you are transferring. In this article, I am using Solana (SOL) as an actual transfer from Huobi to FTX exchange, and the fee incurred was 0.01 SOL, which was approximately worth USD 0.90 at the time of transfer.
How long does it take to withdraw from Huobi and deposit into FTX?
It depends on the cryptocurrency of your transfer. For example, Solana (SOL) took three (3) minutes to transfer from the Huobi account to the FTX account. On the other hand, if you deal with Bitcoin (BTC), you can expect anything between ten (10) minutes to an hour. Of course, this varies from time to time and mainly depends on the congestion period.
